Chips for Children announces new location for 2019
Thanks to the enormous popularity of our fundraising event for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro and its growing attendance, we’re excited to tell you that Chips for Children 2019 will take place at Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro, NC, on Friday, October 18.
With 13,000 square feet of ballroom space, the Grandover affords plenty of room for additional casino tables and other exciting activities to accommodate an expected record turnout for our 6th annual event. A mere 13 minutes from downtown Greensboro, Grandover is easily accessible from all highways and byways in town.
One of the most state-of-the-art conference facilities in the nation, Grandover has also signed on as a Chips for Children 2019 sponsor. We’re thrilled to partner with them!
Since 2014, our Chips for Children casino night charity event has raised a total of $210,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greensboro. These funds help the Clubs sustain their afterschool and summer programs’ focus on academic success and character development while instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, and belonging in each club member.
We’re also pleased to announce the return of Radio Revolver as our musical nightcap. Last year’s guests raved over their energetic performance, and we’re thrilled to have them back this year.
